Financial giving can generally be divided into two categories: tithes and offerings. The Bible teaches us that we worship the Lord with our tithe, which is ten percent of our income, contributed to the church on a regular basis. When we feel called to give over and above our tithe, we do so as an offering. The Bible says the purpose of tithing is to teach you always to put God first in your lives. (Deuteronomy 14:23). Tithing is a reminder that God is the supplier of everything we have. It is also God’s personal invitation to an outpouring of his blessing in your life (Malachi 3:10).

WHERE DOES MY MONEY GO?

As a church staff, we definitely understand that money is not always easy to come by, with how expensive daily living can be. With this understanding, it is our prayer and focus to honor God in how we use the money faithfully given by our members. Our goal each year is to use our budget to continually serve God, our members, and our community.
